Chocolate NO BAKE Oatmeal cookies with Peanut Butter and Honey Drizzle

During the summer, who wants to run their oven at 350 degrees? Not me! Especially living in the desert! I remember way back in the day, my mom would make oatmeal cookies with chocolate and a hint of peanut butter. Then as I got older, I realized just how simple the sweet treats were! No bake just settled the score, I had to make them!

1/2 Cup Butter
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Milk
4 Tbsp. Cocoa Powder
1 tsp. Vanilla
4.5 Cup Oats

1/2 Cup peanut butter with honey (I used KROGER brand), warmed

Add butter, sugar, milk, and cocoa in a large sauce pan and bring to low boil; hold for one minute. Remove from heat. Add peanut butter, then vanilla. Mix in oats and drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.

Take the 1/2 cup honey/PB and warm in microwave for about 20-30 seconds. Drizzle over cookies. Let cool and ENJOY! **I like them after they’ve been refrigerated. It’s a personal preference, but I recommend it 🙂

They look messy and they can be, but I am a firm believer in “the messier the fingers, the better it will taste!”
