Art …it’s From the Heart

Making Masterpieces in True Princess Form

I’ve mentioned before that I am sharing my homemade secrets and traditions with my daughter, we’ll call her little Red. Well, here she is in true princess form creating masterpieces with chalk. I can’t just give her scissors and glue right now, as she’s only 2.5, but unsupervised art projects happen often and I am always so pleased with the outcome. Plus! Parent bonus, these little projects keep her entertained for a long time!

Little Red is fascinated with arts and crafts, and recently started drawing dinosaurs and the chevron pattern (aka her “m’s”). The light in her eyes when she’s done with her pictures is priceless and I’m so happy she has a love for art. She’s an imaginative little genius and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to teach her new things.

… and you better believe that Little Red provides every gift and special occasions card with a little art project. Family eats that shit up 🙂
